FAQs

+ Does Jess accept insurance or provide super-bills for self-reimbursement?

Jess no longer diagnoses clients as part of her work, and therefore would not be able to provide a super bill or bill your insurance. Both methods involve Jess providing a DSM diagnostic code for the client, and abiding by a treatment plan, which is no longer part of her Yothera® Method. Jess's services do qualify for most Health Savings Accounts, and it is up to the client to check with their HSA provider prior to services to see if these are covered.

+ Does Jess offer clinical supervision for LMSW/LCSW hours?

Jess does not offer traditional supervision, but does offer professional consultation for those receiving their hours elsewhere, and wanting supplemental support for embodiment, intuition, and additional support that they may not feel they receive in their traditional supervision sessions.

+ Which work with Jess provides CEU’s?

Mentorship or individual work with Jess does not count for Continuing Education Credits. However, Jess offers a variety of CEU courses through her Yothera® modality and certification program. These CEU’s are able to translate to a variety of professional licensures.

+ How is Mentorship different then therapy?

While Jess is trained as a licensed therapist, her chosen role is as a mentor and guide. The Mentorship program is created and intended for individuals in the helping and healing professions or service work, who are already on their path of personal development and healing, and looking to up-level their service in the world, through their own internal work. Mentorship is a structured and time-limited process, as a container for quick and lasting change. Jess does not offer on-going or multiple back-to-back mentorships, or long-term therapy work.

+ Do I need to be a professional helper/healer to work with Jess?

You do not have to be currently working in a helping or healing profession, but Jess does require that you are engaged in service to the world in a meaningful way to get the most out of our work together. The work is created for individuals to take what they learn, and put it into active practice first personally, and then to expand this embodied practice into their world and others they serve.
